Simple Spanish Tapas?

I need to bring something in for Spanish class. Does anybody have a very simple recipe for a tapa with no nuts, very minimal work, few ingredients, and easy to find these ingredients at a normal grocery store?Simple Spanish Tapas?
This might work for you...Its traditional spanish tapas..

I think people love chips and salsa - but it is easy to come up with an impressive tapas dish.

You could just get some assorted olives and warm them with some garlic and chilies in olive oil - until the garlic starts to sizzle. Pack in a jar and splash with some vinegar and you have marinated olives.

Another Spanish tapa that is very popular and easy is the tortilla or potato omelette

It involves cooking potato slices in olive oil and pouring mixed eggs over it and then it all cooks together into a thick egg dish.

You can make it in advance and serve room temp with mayonaise or warm with tomato sauce - or plain.

Also common are potatoes with cayenne tomato sauce: "Patatas Bravas".

"An old Spanish favorite, it is simple to prepare, using fairly basic ingrediants but, it should only be savored by the courageous as it is quite spicy!"

There are 2 ingredients which make things taste "Spanish" - Spanish smoked paprika and saffron - both rather gourmet ingredients and not necessary for any of the recipes above. But a bit of either in any mayonaise makes a great base of dip for tapas.Simple Spanish Tapas?
Mixed Marinated Olives

Mixed green and black olives

Olive oil, to taste

Lemon zest, to taste

Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

2 rosemary sprigs, crushed

Kosher salt, to taste

Slivered garlic, to taste

If olives are in brine, drain and discard liquid. Toss all the olives together in a bowl. Toss with a generous amount of olive oil, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, rosemary sprigs, salt, and slivers of fresh garlic. Let marinate at least overnight and up to a couple weeks in the refrigerator - they'll only get more flavorful.

Toast bread. Spread onto each toast a bit of garlic mayonnaise. Add a slice of smoked ham and a portion of avocado to each.

Few tapas taste more Spanish than champi帽ones al ajillo (ajillo mushrooms), dripping with olive oil, garlic and dry Spanish Sherry.

To make this tapa even more authentic, be sure to serve the mushrooms with plenty of fresh, crusty bread to mop up the delicious juices.

(THIS ONLY SERVES 4 PEOPLE, SO JUST x4 IT!)

1/4 cup (2 fl. oz) olive oil

4 cups (8 oz) mushrooms, wiped clean and quartered

6 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons dry sherry

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon dried red chile, seeded and crumbled

1/4 teaspoon Spanish paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Heat the oil in a skillet and saut茅 the mushrooms over high heat for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Lower the heat to medium and add the garlic, sherry, lemon juice, dried chile, paprika, and salt and pepper.

Cook for about 5 minutes or until the garlic and mushrooms have softened.

Remove from the heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve on small earthenware platters.
