How much would a paint job cost on a 97 honda civic?

I wanna get an idea of how much it would cost to get the hood painted and the roof. The paint is faded due to sun damage I think. Not a full paint job just the hood and roof of the car and maybe the trunk. (1997 Honda Civic Ex) ThanksHow much would a paint job cost on a 97 honda civic? This is going to vary based on where you go and what part of the country you live in. I paid to get a '67 Chevy completely repainted for around $2000 (all sanding myself), but a friend had their fender, hood, door done for less. I would say, considering the pesices you want to paint it should be less than $500.

Some problems you are going to encounter: How is the car as far as total paint color? I ran into the problem when I had my '87 Toyota Supra it's original color---the manufactures color and the color the car currently was didn't quite match (due to the fading you mentioned). Make sure you choose someone with a good reputation, because otherwise the paint will peel in no time (not to mention not look very good).

Hope this helps! Good luck! How much would a paint job cost on a 97 honda civic?well if you paint the hood your need to go into the fender. they need to blend the color to the fenders. if you do the trunk you need to blen into your quarter panels. it can cost you some money. depends where you go and what kind of paint job your looking for.How much would a paint job cost on a 97 honda civic?Talk to a body shop.
