Umm...you have a Honda Civic Sedan. 70 horsepower. 2.0 liter motor (same size as a 2-liter Pepsi bottle)...what did you expect, warp speed?!? LOL. Remember the golden rule: There is no replacement for displacement (try 7.4 liters on for size)...Is it normal for my honda civic to be so slow?if you can do it yourself--go buy the best spark plugs and wires you can and replace what you have---go and buy a fuel filter after running a good gas treatment in it--not the $1.99 stuff. when you replace these things--disconnect the battery first---the red. see if that helps. also change out your air filter.Is it normal for my honda civic to be so slow?

It could be your spark plugs, fuel filter, or your transmission (low on fluid or low gear clutches going out)
