MakeshI own a Honda Civic 2006 EX. I am planning to buy a Honda Accessory called "Wheel Locks".Is it good to buy? It's an accessory that is used to prevent wheel theft. "Is it a good buy?" They cost $30-$50, so it's not a huge investment. If you feel that you park your car in unsafe neighborhoods and think the vehicle's wheels are suject to being stolen, then yes, this will act as a preventative security measure.
To install, take off the exisitng lug nuts and put one wheel lock on each wheel in its place. And make sure you know where you keep the key to be sure you can get the wheel off if necessary!I own a Honda Civic 2006 EX. I am planning to buy a Honda Accessory called "Wheel Locks".Is it good to buy?
WHEEL LOCKS ARE MADE TO PROTECT YOURE WHEELS FROM GETTING STOLEN. ALL YOU DO IS TAKE ONE LUGNUT OFF OF EACH WHEEL AND REPLACE IT WITH ONE OF THE WHEEL LOCKS. DONT BUT THEM FROM HONDA THOUGH. GO TO AUTOZONE. THEY HAVE THE SAME THING FOR HALF THE PRICE.I own a Honda Civic 2006 EX. I am planning to buy a Honda Accessory called "Wheel Locks".Is it good to buy?Unless you have some wheels someone might want to steal, they're useless. All they are is a wheel nut ("lug nut") that u need a special tool to get off. But if it sticks out farther then the wheel , someone can still get them off with Vise Grips...I own a Honda Civic 2006 EX.
