Can anyone tell me which is the better book for Honda motorcycles?
I can get one from Honda and one from Clymer. Past experience with repair manuals tell me that often times one from other than the manufacture can be better. I welcome recommendations. Can anyone tell me which is the better book for Honda motorcycles? The drawback with any factory manual is that they may assume training and or tools not available to the average mortal. The factory manuals are written with the dealership mechanic as the primary audience. A Cylmer, Haynes and an Owners forum on the internet are actually your best / cost effective option. What are you going to do when the factory manual tells you that you must now use special tool 45j-917l.110 to remove the retaining fastener? Yea scratch yer freakin head! There are owners out there who probably come up with an alternate. Clymer and owners forum is the way to go.Can anyone tell me which is the better book for Honda motorcycles?Go with the Honda manual. Clymer is second rate, often inaccurate and printed on cheap paper. Can anyone tell me which is the better book for Honda motorcycles? The Honda one.
