How do I input a code into my Honda CD player?

I have a '97 Honda Accord. I just replaced the battery and for security reasons my CD player was reset. The CD player reads Err 3. Even though I have the code, it will not let me input the code.How do I input a code into my Honda CD player?Use the radio preset buttons (1-6)
