How do you replace the valve springs on a 1996 Honda Elite 80cc 4cycle?

How do you replace the valve springs on a Honda Elite 80cc 4cycle. It has a knock and is burning oil after it idles awhile. I'd like to know tear down procedure. How do you replace the valve springs on a 1996 Honda Elite 80cc 4cycle?You start taking stuff of of this scooter until you can access the engine. Once you find the engine start taking stuff off of the engine until you find the valve springs. Take stuff of of the valve springs until the valve springs fall out. Once the valve springs fall out put the new valve springs on. Put stuff on the valve springs until the valve springs no longer fall off. Start putting stuff on the engine until you run out of stuff. Start putting stuff on the scooter until you run out of stuff.

Or

Don't be so cheap. A Haynes manual for this scooter is only $42 + shipping. It will have detailed step by step instructions on how to correctly do just about any maintenance on this scooter, including servicing the valve springs. With a service manual you will no longer need to depend on strangers on the Internet for your maintenance procedures. You will no longer need to decide if these maintenance procedures from these strangers is accurate or just a bunch of B.S. I find it amazing how much B.S. someone will give here for a measly 2 points.

A service manual will pay for itself the first time you use it. 25yrs exp. automotives.... if true, you wouldn't be asking a question like this. You would know how to do the job. I have worked on cars for 40 years, small jobs.. brakes, tune ups, etc. and I know I don't have the tools or knowledge to do the job you are asking about.
