Has anyone added fork springs to a honda magna, What to know what kind works and what how hard was it to add.What to add front spring forks to a Honda Magna 1986?If you mean to add more spring to what is already there, you can probably put in a longer spacer (#4) over the spring. That would pre-load and stiffen the suspension.

A better way to go would be to replace your old fork springs with new ones from Progressive Suspension.
