1991 Honda Accord speedometer and odometer not working?

I have a 1991 Honda Accord LS. The speedometer and odometer keep on going on and off. They could work for miles and then suddenly stop working for miles. The Green Sports light is flashing on the dashboard. Can someone help me.1991 Honda Accord speedometer and odometer not working?Uh no it runs from the transmission in through the firewall and into the gauge cluster you can go to a junk yard and pick up one for 15-20 bucks you might want to check and see if it did come loose from the trans if it didn't go to the junkyard and get a little practice taking one off another car not yours that way when you go to take yours apart you will know where the screws are and you don't break any thing1991 Honda Accord speedometer and odometer not working?the speedometer is ran by electric current. i would take it out and see if the connection is good on the plugs in the back of it. when your driving and it stops working push on it and try and move it around to see if the needle jumps around any. it will tell you theres a bad connection1991 Honda Accord speedometer and odometer not working?check your speedometer cable.it goes from gauge to front tire it may be loose.or it may need lubricating.
