I have a 1998 Honda Civic LX and i have this little square on the cluster and its the stock cluster and underneath it is says "maintenance required" and it used to be black in color, but now its kind of red. If the light is coming on red , chances are you need a 02 sensor or EGR valve. Auto zone will plug it in free of charge ans let you know whats going on.
