I am just wondering if anyone would know if thats the maintenance required light in a 98 Honda Civic LX?What color does the maintenance light of a 1998 Honda Civic turns when it needs maintenance? You are correct - when it's red, the light is "on" meaning that the OBD code reader needs to be hooked up (done for free at some auto parts stores) and the codes viewed to indicate the repairs neededWhat color does the maintenance light of a 1998 Honda Civic turns when it needs maintenance?yellow first then redWhat color does the maintenance light of a 1998 Honda Civic turns when it needs maintenance? The maintenance required light on Honda's is nothing more than a reminder to get the oil changed. It is not the same as the check engine light. Do any scheduled maintenance you have due then turn it off with the instructions that are in the manual. What color does the maintenance light of a 1998 Honda Civic turns when it needs maintenance?
If the light is coming on red , chances are you need a 02 sensor or EGR valve. Auto zone will plug it in free of charge ans let you know whats going on.
