How do I change the window crank mechanism in my honda?

The window stopped rolling up yesterday, so I went and purchased a new window crank mechanism for a manual window. I have pulled off the paneling, now I just have to get behind the metal, the metal doesn't seem like I can take it off, so how do I get to and replace the window mechanism?
