How would a 1995 Honda Prelude handle in the next few years?

I'm recently buying a 1995 Honda Prelude with 130K miles on it. I was told that it would be a good buy if it keeps up with 10K miles a year since it was manufactured. Also its 5-spd. Thanks.

P.S. Are there (and should I) any performance upgrades to basically make the car go faster? Thanks again. How would a 1995 Honda Prelude handle in the next few years? Many Honda's, Toyota's, and Nissan's can run upwards of 200k miles, so with a tiny bit of luck and regular maintenance that Prelude should be able to run for many more miles.

Performance upgrades and making your car go faster both decrease the miles the car will be able to run without breaking down and replacing a lot of things. So, with that being said, if you still want to go that route you could do many things. If you're looking for big power, you could try a turbocharger or a supercharger. If you're looking for naturally aspirated power you could try a super common H22 engine swap. Be warned though, all of those modifications (except a bare bones engine swap, providing it's done correctly) would decrease the reliability of the vehicle. If thats more power than you want, you could always do the basic cold air intake + exhaust deal.
