What is the best state to buy a Honda?

I would like to purchase an 07-08 Honda Cr-v 4 wheel drive but I'm trying to go about it in the most cost effective way. What is the best state to buy a Honda?Florida!!!What is the best state to buy a Honda?
Most cost effective would be to buy locally. What is the best state to buy a Honda?any state really, they all cost the same.
The state you live in, so you don't have to pay taxes on the car for both states. What is the best state to buy a Honda? To answer your question in the simplest form: "There is no magic state where prices are lower".

You always have to keep several things in consideration:

1) Transportation cost to get to where the vehicle is IF you're picking it up.

2) Fuel cost

3) If you register the vehicle in your state, how much $$ are you out?

4) If you have to get the vehicle shipped to you, how much $$?What is the best state to buy a Honda?
The most cost effective way is to locate one locally that is being sold by the original owner.

Patience is your best tool. Take your time, the deal you need and the car you want will come to you if you are patient and persistent.

Prices may vary slightly from state to state, but it is the state that you title and register the vehicle in is where you will be paying the taxes and state fees. You are obviously looking for a used car. If you go out of state, will you have a mechanic with you to look over the vehicle thoroughly? You never know what you will get, or if the owner is being truthful with you about the vehicle's history. It's a buyer beware situation. Some dealerships offer a 30 day warranty on some of their cars, some don't. Is is worth your while to go back to wherever you purchased the vehicle if there is a problem with it? Private sales are "as is" purchases and you will have no recourse if a problem arises. So in either case you should get a trusted mechanic to make sure it's worth it to purchase it.

And finally is it worth the gas and mileage if you go out of state for the purchase? Or if you have to go back to wherever you purchased it if there is a problem?

I would stay local, use a trusted mechanic to look at the vehicle before purchasing it. You may save a few bucks going out of state, but is it worth it if there is a problem? Title and taxes will be the same no matter where you purchase it.
