My husband has acquired a 1964 Honda Dream for two cases of beer. Smart man as the bike is all original including the bill of sale. The title never transferred. The only thing he needs for Christmas is a carb for this Joker. Do you know what carb will work for this and where I can find one? What is the right carb for a 1964 Honda Dream 150cc?Check with your local Honda dealer.I actually got parts, new old stock, for a 1958 Honda 55.Honda has the best parts support of all the big 4 japanese manufacturesWhat is the right carb for a 1964 Honda Dream 150cc?As far as I knew, the Dreams, C71, C72, C76, and C77s were all either 250cc or 305cc. If they ever made a 150cc dream, I am unaware of it. A picture would be helpful. As far as the Dreams went though, the engine was similar to the CB77 Superhawk. I am not sure of the mm size of the carb, but I would suspect that they were the same on the CB77 as they were on the various Dreams, but perhaps jetted differently. There is one, and only one on Ebay at the moment, and it is listed as being for a 1965 CA77 Dream. It looks to be in rough condition however. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1965-Hond鈥?/a>
Good luck. Restoring and working on bikes this old can get very expensive, very quickly. What is the right carb for a 1964 Honda Dream 150cc?Check with you local dealership like Bob A suggested.
You would be surprised what they might have - I was.
Another alternative is the wrecking/salvage yards.
My local guy (http://mcsalvage.com/coopers.htm) does only Japanese cycles
- and has a Dream for a mailbox post.
